PzKpfw. VI Tiger “114” – a legend in 1:12 scale
The PzKpfw. VI “Tiger” with number 114, preserved in the Musée des Blindés in Saumur (France), is among the most valuable surviving tanks from the Second World War. The Tiger was notorious for its 88mm gun and extremely thick armor, making it feared on all fronts. Unit 114 fought on the Eastern Front, was captured by the Allies, and is today one of the centerpieces of the French tank museum.
With 8,000 parts, a length of 70 cm and a weight of nearly 6 kg, this new edition represents a milestone in COBI history. The Tiger 114 is the successor to the previously released Tiger 131 and offers improved running gear, a completely redesigned interior, and a universal camouflage pattern, matching the fronts of 1944.
The set contains numerous specially designed parts, including a removable Maybach HL230 engine, which alone consists of 300 blocks – comparable to an entirely separate COBI model! The tank features a rotating turret, movable gun, opening hatches, working wheels, and realistic tracks. From the ammunition compartment and engine room to switches and control panels: every detail of the interior has been meticulously recreated.
Developed in collaboration with the Musée des Blindés, this set combines historical accuracy, impressive scale, and ultimate building fun. This isn’t just a building set, but a masterpiece for collectors and military technology enthusiasts.
