The set includes three figures representing Polish insurgents from the 1944 Warsaw Uprising.

Among the figures is a liaison officer with a Polish flag.

Additionally, there are two Home Army (Armia Krajowa) soldiers in improvised uniforms, recognizable by the white-and-red armbands and Polish symbols on their caps and captured helmets.
All figures feature completely new, detailed uniform and face prints and stand on included figure stands for easy display. Each figure also comes with accessories, including an MP 40 submachine gun, a stick grenade, or a Mauser rifle.

Historical context
The Warsaw Uprising broke out on August 1, 1944, at 5:00 PM and lasted until October 3. It was an armed action by the Polish resistance movement, primarily the Home Army, against the German occupation forces in Warsaw. The goal was to liberate the capital before the arrival of the Red Army to secure Polish sovereignty after the war.
Despite initial successes, the insurgents could not maintain their positions due to overwhelming German superiority and the lack of sufficient external aid. After 63 days of fierce and devastating combat, the uprising was suppressed. Approximately 16,000 insurgents and 150,000–200,000 civilians perished, and the city was almost completely destroyed.
To this day, the Warsaw Uprising remains a symbol of courage and sacrifice in the name of freedom and higher values.
