The Higgins Boat (LCVP) is a historic landing craft designed by Andrew Higgins and used during D-Day and various other operations in Europe and the Pacific. The COBI model in 1:35 scale is completely newly developed and reproduces the original vessel with an opening ramp, detailed hull, rudder, turbines, and engine cover. The set includes moving elements such as two machine guns and a cable mechanism for opening and closing the front ramp. Permanent prints ensure an authentic look. The model comes with a display stand and a nameplate, as well as two figures: a US infantryman and a crew member. The Higgins Boat features a large, double American flag on both sides.
