The Junkers JU-88 is one of the impressive large aircraft from the COBI Historical Collection WWII. Often called the “German Mosquito,” the JU-88 was a versatile twin-engine aircraft that served as a high-speed bomber, night fighter, torpedo bomber, and reconnaissance plane. Between 1939 and 1945, nearly 15,000 units were produced in various versions. The aircraft was renowned for its versatility, speed, and effectiveness in low-level attacks and dive-bombing.
