COBI-5754 – Dornier Do 17Z-2
HISTORICAL COLLECTION WWII | 1,383 pieces | 2 figures | 1:32 Scale | Age 10+

The Dornier Do 17Z-2, also known as the “Flying Pencil”, was a German bomber from the early years of World War II. Designed by Dornier Flugzeugwerke in the 1930s, this aircraft was known for its slender fuselage, high speed, and maneuverability. The Do 17Z-2 was one of the final variants and was deployed during the European campaign and the bombing of cities and industrial targets. With a crew of 4 to 6 and armed with bombs, machine guns, and cannons, the Do 17 played a significant role in early Luftwaffe operations.

This large 1:32 scale model consists of 1,383 pieces and has an impressive wingspan of 57.5 cm. Specially developed new blocks using two-color injection technology were created for the cockpit and nose section, realistically capturing the complex shape. The cockpit features detailed prints and accommodates the two included pilot figures in uniform.

The bomber features moving parts, including propellers, ailerons, bomb bay doors, and detachable bombs. The underside is finished in a new shade of blue with additional prints, and the pilot figures’ uniforms also feature back prints. The set can be displayed with the included nameplate.
