Dodge WC-56 Command Car – the generals’ vehicle
This set is part of the special collection marking the 80th Anniversary of D-Day and bears the official logo of the commemorative celebrations in France.
The Dodge WC-56 Command Car, released under official RAM license, was an American staff car used during World War II to transport officers and coordinate battlefield communications. The 1:35 scale model features authentic prints based on historical markings from 1944. A special block has even been designed for the Dodge cars in the shape of the signature radiator grille.
The model features rotating wheels with rubber tires and attachment points for figures. The set includes two unique figures: an American general, based on a historical figure, and his military driver.
