COBI-5734 – Dewoitine D.520
Historical Collection WWII | 335 pieces | 1 figure | Age 7+ | Scale 1:32

The Dewoitine D.520 was the most modern French fighter aircraft of World War II. Designed and built in 1938 at the Société Nationale des Constructions Aéronautiques du Midi, the D.520 was a single-seat, all-metal low-wing monoplane. Production began in March 1939 and was not interrupted by the French surrender in 1940. Later units were produced for the Vichy government, the Luftwaffe, and the Italian, Bulgarian, and Romanian armies. Polish pilots defending France were equipped with 26 units during the German invasion in 1940. In total, approximately 755 aircraft were produced, and the design remained in service even after the war until 1953.

Build this historic aircraft with 335 COBI building blocks in a 1:32 scale model. The model features historic camouflage and markings (Vichy France) with durable prints that won’t fade during intensive use. It features moving parts, including a propeller, ailerons, an opening cockpit, and retractable wheels. The set includes a French pilot figure with an oxygen mask. The model comes with a black display stand and a nameplate with the aircraft’s name, making it a perfect addition to any collection or as a decoration.
