The Consolidated B-24 Liberator was one of the most produced and versatile heavy bombers of World War II. Deployed for long-range bombing, maritime patrols, and anti-submarine warfare, the Liberator played a crucial role in both Europe and the Pacific. The aircraft could carry up to 3.6 tons of bombs and was equipped with 8–10 heavy 12.7 mm machine guns, making it known as an extremely powerful and versatile weapon.

This 1:48 scale COBI model represents the famous B-24D “Axis Nightmare”, featuring its iconic grim reaper emblem. This specific aircraft was lost in February 1945 during the war in the Pacific.
