The Sd.Kfz.251 was the standard half-track armored personnel carrier of the German army during World War II. Production of various variants began in 1939, upon which other combat vehicles were later based. One of these vehicles was the “Stummel”, equipped with a short-barreled 7.5 cm Stu.K.37 gun as a support vehicle. The first units were built in 1942.
