COBI-5755 – WACO CG-4
HISTORICAL COLLECTION WWII | 784 pieces | 1 figure | Scale 1:35 | Age 10+
The WACO CG-4 was an Allied transport glider used during World War II to deliver troops, vehicles, and equipment behind enemy lines. The glider could carry up to 13 soldiers or a Willys MB jeep and played a crucial role during events such as D-Day and Operation Market Garden. With its wood and metal frame covered in canvas, the WACO was towed by transport aircraft like the C-47 Dakota.
This 1:35 scale model set of 784 pieces was released to mark the 80th anniversary of the Normandy landings and bears the official logo of the commemorative organization. The model features a new specially designed nose piece, which faithfully reproduces the shape of the actual aircraft. The included American pilot figure can be placed inside.
The model features high-quality prints and is fully compatible with the COBI Douglas C-47 Skytrain Dakota. Together, these sets form a unique duo for reenacting historical D-Day operations.
