The Opel Manta A is a true classic that has earned its permanent place in automotive history. The sportiest version was the GT/E introduced in 1974, equipped with a 1.9-liter engine (1897 cm³) with Bosch fuel injection, delivering 105 hp. The Manta reached a top speed of 188 km/h and was available with a 4-speed manual or a 3-speed automatic transmission. The model became a huge sales success and led to the so-called “Manta-mania”, visible in the accessories market and popular culture.
